Once upon a time, I had dinner with one of my friendster who is also a cabin crew with MAS, used to be married with a one year old son. She saw my name in the hotel crewlist. She called my room and asked me if I had dinner. I said yes about an hour earlier with my Co-pilot. She was so persistence to meet me so I said ok to have dinner with her. We went to  Khatulistiwa restaurant just across the hotel. When we arrived there she straight away to the point telling me why she wanted to see me. She said that after reading my blogs, she just need to talk to me about her problems.

Her Story…..

Noreen (bukan name sebenar) has been married to Fo Yusof (bukan name sebenar) for about two years now. They have been rewarded with a gorgeous son. He is now one year old. Unfortunately, they are now not staying together. Noreen was a FA (Flight Attendant not Fss) based in KUL while Yusof is an Fo posted to JHB. Just after three months Yusof in JHB, he stopped coming home to KUL to see Noreen and the son. And now its been a year Yusof have not been doing his job as a husband and a father. Noreen has been calling him almost every week trying to find out why and what is happening. But, everytime she called his handphone, his answer would be  I’m in the aircraft right now, I will call you back.

One day Noreen’s friend who is working in Maxis called her saying that Yusof phone bill is Rm2700 and there was one common handphone number. She said that the said handphone is registered to a female in Kuala Terengganu. Noreen called the number and found out that it was a female from Terengganu but now residing in JHB. When asked what is her relationship with Yusof, she answered without any fear that they are lovers. She also said that she will be sitting for her SPM this year and Yusof has been very supportive (inside and out) to her. Noreen broke down. She has just bought a house in Kota Warisan, a car and now she has lost that loving feeling. But for the sake of her son she flew to JHB to confront Yusof. When she arrived Jhb she asked Yusof’s flight operation to find out if he is working today and they answered yes and he will only be back in two hours time. Noreen then proceed to yusof’s house since she has the key to his house. When she arrived his house, open the door, Noreen noticed that the house was a bit smokey and had a very peculiar smell, bau asap kemenyan. She when in and tried to look for the source of the smell. The smell was very strong coming out from the master bedroom. The bedroom door was not locked. She open the door slowly and she  saw naked female squatting on the bed alone. Underneath her squat was a tray containing the ’smokey kemenyan’ and a plate of white rice. She was chantting to verses that Noreen could not understand.

Noreen suddenly shouted, " Hoi ape ko buat nie? Ko siape?". The female got a shock of her life and fell down of the bed. She suddenly got up and asked back "Ko siape?". Noreen rplied "Aku Noreen, bini Yusof, Ko siape berani masuk umah laki aku? Baik ko cakap kalau tak aku report polis" She was scared when Noreen said that she is Yusof’s wife and she threatened to call the polis. She then replied, with tears, that her name was Milah (bukan nama sebenar), from Kuala Terengganu and now in JHB schooll will be sitting for her SPM soon. She came from a poor family who couldn’t care less about her studies. So she ran away from home, manage to con her way up to study in a secondary school to sit for her exam. One of the many ways is ‘NASI KANGKANG’ to get financial back-up from lonely man with money.

Suddenly, the house door open. Yusof is back. When yusof entered the house and saw Noreen in the house, he shouted " What the hell are you doing here?. Get out! go back to your son. Entah jantan mane punya entah." Noreen was shocked when she heard that statement. "What do you mean jantan mane, don’t you remember I was a virgin when we got married two years ago, how could I have done with someone else?" Yusof replied " Aaaagghhhh… Get out from my house. Aku tanak tengok muka kau lagi! Aku ceraikan kan kau dengan talak satu" Noreen was shocked to hear the most feared word from a husband to a wife. Noreen realize that Milah was smilling at the back ground. Without any tears Noreen left and flew back to KUL. A few weeks later Noreen received a letter from Pejabat kadi saying that its official that they are no longger married.

This story has been told to me for quite somtime now. Only recently Noreen allow me to share her experience with others. Noreen is now happy leaving with her son in Kota Warisan with a maid. She resigned from her previous company and now with MAS as a Fss.
